The things discussed, comes from a deep & dark hidden place.I'm a sufferer of Sickle Cell Disease.Yet when you're suffering at the hands of the ones who took an oath to take care of you because of racial stereotypes causing more suffering than just the disease.If you walked one mile in my shoes...you would wonder...How Did I Ever Stay As Sane As I Am???
This is a video of a young lady who is the carrier of Sickle Cell Disease and because of problems associated with living with this illness makes her feel like she wanted to commit suicide. Actually her mother has the disease also and it hurts her to watch her mother in pain during her pain episodes. This is the reason why I'm an advocate for this disease because there are too many people out here that is so uninformed & uneducated when it comes to any knowledge about a disease that is as serious as Cancer and Leukemia.
